Frequently asked questions
What is STEAM education?
STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. At Ignite, we integrate these subjects into hands-on projects that inspire creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
What ages or grade levels do you accept?
We welcome children from Preschool (ages 3 and 4) and VPK through 5th grade, with small class sizes to ensure individualized attention.
How do you ensure student safety?
Safety is our top priority. We maintain secure facilities, trained staff, and caring supervision to ensure a safe and supportive environment for every child.
Does Ignite accept Step Up For Students scholarships?
Yes! Ignite STEAM and Fine Arts Academy proudly participates in the Step Up For Students scholarship program. Eligible families may use approved scholarships toward tuition.
Step Up For Students is a Florida scholarship program that helps eligible families access private education by providing financial assistance for tuition and approved educational expenses. Many Florida families may qualify based on their individual circumstances. Eligibility requirements are determined by the Step Up For Students program.
Do you offer before and after care?
Yes. We offer before- and after-school care for Pre-K 3, VPK and K–5 students. Before care runs 6:30–8:30 AM and after care 3:00–6:30 PM.
Weekly rates: K–5 — $130; Pre-K 3 & VPK — $90.
Is care available during school holidays and breaks?
Yes. Holiday & break care is available on designated student holidays, teacher workdays and school breaks with advance registration.
Weekly rates: K–5 — $130; Pre-K 3 & VPK — $220. The school is closed on federal holidays.
What is your refund policy?
Tuition and fees are generally non-refundable, including for absences, illness, vacations and school holidays. Withdrawal requires written notice; please contact the school office with any questions.
